A little bit about me, I’ve been blessed to have spent most of my life as a singer/songwriter entertaining audiences across America, Canada, Bermuda, Ireland and on cruise ships. One highlight of my career was performing at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. I have also had the privilege of appearing on the same bills with legendary artists such as Johnny Cash, Andy Williams, Phil Coulter, Finbarr Wright, John MacNally, Natalie McMaster and Maura O’Connell.
Mid- career I had my own radio and television shows. It was a joy to introduce my listeners to songs and artists I love and respect. I even had a part in the movie “Billy Galvin” where I sang a song and which starred Karl Malden.
I have several albums including “Come On Home” “Through The Years”, and "Songs Poems & Prayers", the later is filled with stories told in the poems I wrote about my life growing up in Cork City, Ireland.
I love Ireland and am proud, so proud, to be from Cork. All of my poems are true stories about my life in, and remembrances of Cork City. One poem ,“Going Down The Park With My Da”, is loved by many people who hear it. It’s from the “Country, Irish and Diamond CD, It’s a story about going to a hurling match with my Dad when I was a young boy in the fifties.
I wrote the song called “Take Me From My Pit Lord” from a prayer I used to say when I was down in the dumps, similar words are found in Psalm 40, which I love.
